NJ EMT Training Fund Cuts Funding to Volunteers
March 5, 2010

Today, EMS Agencies & Educators across the State received the word from Trenton that the funds volunteers have relied on for more than 10 years would no longer be available to fund most elective continuing education.  You can read the full announcement here

Based on this announcement, RVESCUE has stopped accepting all Training Fund vouchers effective immediately.  We futher would like to STRONGLY encourage every single EMS Provider and Agency to review the proposed NJ EMS System Redesign legislation, introduced in both the NJ Senate & Assembly, and talk to your elected officials for their support, which in part will not only open additional funding sources to this fund, but open the fund to ALL EMS providers across the State!
