Course Overview

This instructor facilitated course will provide the participant the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities and other tools to effectively and efficiently operate in a leadership role at a Large Scale Incident.  The expectation is that upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to successfully function within the EMS Branch of the Incident Command System as the Triage, Treatment or Transport Group Supervisor, or the Staging Area Manager.  This course was developed by the Incident Support and Operational Planning Unit (ISOP) at the UMDNJ Center for BioDefense

Audience

All EMS First Responders, new and experienced EMT's, Senior Members, Crew Chiefs, Paramedics and field Nurses, front line supervisors and officers, and new members to an EMS Incident Management Support Team.
