Schedule of Fit Testing
Open Fit Testing dates and locations are listed below. Plan on approximately 20 minutes for N95, 30 minutes for SCBA, or 45 minutes for combined. We will do our best to remain on schedule for appointments. These dates/times will be confirmed with you via email prior to your actual appointment.

SCBA Fit Testing
We currently only offer Fit Testing for SCOTT AV2000 and AV3000 masks, using Portacount .
The user MUST bring his/her own mask to be tested on if size is known. If not known, user should bring 1 of each size with them to testing night.
If not completing Medical Clearance with RVESCUE, user must bring written medical clearance of use of type of mask they will be tested on.
N95 Fit Testing
RVESCUE utilizes the qualitative, or "hood" method of fit testing for N95 masks, using either saccharin, bitrex or a combination of both.
The user MUST bring with them a sample of their agencies N95 masks, including 1 of each size mask.
NOTE: If the agency supplies multiple different masks, then the user is required to be fit-tested on each type of mask they may be asked to wear.
Medical Clearance
RVESCUE, LLC can help your agency by administrating your membership's medical evaluations through a confidential online questionaire and approval process. Members will have a toll-free number to contact the reviewing medical authority with any questions. All medical questionnaires are held by the reviewing vendor, and not RVESCUE or your agency. RVESCUE will supply your agencies identified RPP Compliance Officer with a written proof of medical clearance, and dates of same. No medical records or private health information is maintained by or at RVESCUE, LLC. If full medical clearance via a physical is recommended by the screening medical authority , it is up to your agency to make those arrangements directly and is not included in the cost.
