Course Overview
This ASHI program has collaborated with two leading publishers of first responder student textbooks, Brady and Mosby/JEMS (Elsevier) to bring you the ASHI First Responder program. All First Responder materials thoroughly cover the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) National Standard Curriculum for First Responders
Course Objectives
The goal of this program is to help student develop the knowledge and skills necessary to provide lifesaving interventions while awaiting the arrival of EMS personnel.
Audience
Individuals who, in the course of performing other duties, are likely (or expected) to respond to emergencies, such as law enforcement officers, fire fighters, and other public and private safety and service personnel
Length of Course
Approximately 40 Hours. Schedules can be flexible based on department needs.
