CBRNE Awareness (NJSP HMRU)
Course Overview
This course is the New Jersey State Police Hazmat Response Unit's Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive Awareness level program, that will be presented as a classroom lecture. It will familiarize the student with the recognition of weapons of mass destruction, terrorism and the defensive actions they may use in a response to a terrorist incident. The course will review basic awareness level response principles.
Prerequisites
Students should be familiar with the environments and situations where emergency services are operated and have taken Hazardous Materials Awareness prior.
